2023 Artisan Market News!!

The 8th annual Red Geranium Artisan Market event will be held Saturday, August 19 from 9-3. The event is held both indoors and outside the historical First Presbyterian Church of Noblesville located at 1207 Conner St., Noblesville IN 46060

50 artisan vendors were selected through an application and jury process selecting one-of-a-kind, handmade and unique items. The artisan booths will be located both inside the church and outside on the parking lot surface. You will also enjoy live music throughout the day and be able to enjoy a delicious food at the Smokey Blue food truck, a cool house-made gelato at Stacco House by Mammamia, or visit our ladies bake sale inside the church for some yummy home-made treats.

Our market is both kid and dog-friendly with free admission and free parking. We suggest parking at the city lot, one block west of the market, located at 10th and Maple St. and walking up the street while enjoying the shaded “old town” homes of Noblesville. Street parking near the church is available but limited. Handicap parking spaces are available on the alley running between Adrienne’s Flower Shop and the church. Find an attendant to help you get parked and access the show.

What makes us unique – We only select 2-3 from each category to keep our focus on providing our shoppers variety and unique finds. We also have over half of our vendors as return artisans year after year because they love our market, and many exciting new artisans eager to share their creations. Categories include antiques, primitives, up-cycled and repurposed creations, garden art, mosaics, pottery, wood, glass art, metal, fibers, photography, jewelry, furniture, boutique clothing for adults and children, pet products, vegetable or flower farmers, food vendors, musicians, and fine artists of all kinds.

The purpose of our market is to be a fun community event that helps us raise funds for local and world mission. We charge our vendors booth rental that goes directly into our mission fund. When you attend our market you are helping people right here in Hamilton County and as far away as Appalachia, Hungary, and Ukraine.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our historic church built in 1893, in beautiful downtown Noblesville and invite you to attend Sunday Service at 10:00 AM. or check out our live stream worship service every Sunday morning for those who cannot join us in person.

2022 Market a HUGE Success!

The 7th annual Red Geranium Artisan Market hosted one of our largest crowds of shoppers ever. The 50 artisan booths, 2 food vendors, live music, church bake sale and wonderful volunteers all contributed to a great day. Mother nature decided to drop a bomb on us 45 minutes before the market was scheduled to conclude, but everyone just packed up and ran into the church to truly ride the storm out. Molly Jones even brought her harp inside and entertained everyone until we could go back outside and put everything away. We hope to see everyone (except that pop-up rain storm) next year on Saturday, August 21 from 9-3 for the 8th annual Red Geranium Artisan Market.

Applications will open the first week of January 2023. Be sure to check the Red Geranium Artisan Market Facebook page for information on how to apply online or have an application emailed to you. We only accept 50 artisans and look for high quality, one-of-a-kind arts and crafts to provide the best shopping experience for our guests. No direct sales or mass produced vendors. Always looking ahead for additional food vendors and musicians so please contact us if interested.

  1. We are starting out our 50 days of 50 artisans with someone who has been with us from the very beginning.  Everyone loves the creative and colorful selection of wreaths made by Candis Woods of ‘Wreaths by Candis’.  From Candis, “I create wreaths and centerpieces for all occasions. The price range is $35 to $60. My faith, and beautiful things, have inspired me to create wreaths after 30 years of teaching elementary school.”

2. Happy 4th of July!!  Today’s featured artisan has also been with us since our first market.  Each of her creative boutique clothing designs is unique and you never know what you will find in her booth.  From Emily, “Hi.  I’m Emily Kniesly of Just Millie and Me.  Millie is my grandmother who raised me from birth and is my Guardian Angel.  I make women’s one-of-a-kind clothing from vintage and recycled fabrics and embellishments.  I’m known for ‘affordable art wear’.”  You can see more of Emily’s work at www.justmillieandme.com

3. Simple, affordable, memorable…words from our new artisan Emily Weible of Grace & Faith Accessories of Fishers IN.   Emily has an amazing assortment of handmade accessories for you to enjoy for yourself or your little ones.   From Emily, “I am a stay-at-home momma that LOVES all things crafty!  I have two little girls, Lillie and Rose, who inspire me every day to keep creating fun new accessories.  To see more visit her Etsy shop.

4. We LOVE today’s artisan of the day, Jim Miles Woodworking, because everything Jim makes goes toward people in need!  The 7th annual Red Geranium Artisan Market is all about mission and helping others.  All booth rental goes straight to local, state, and international missions we support here at our church plus we have several artisans who donate everything they make to charity.  Look for the ❤️heart❤️ signs that designate these special people.   From Jim, “I am Jim Miles, a local woodworker that makes a wide variety of items including jewelry boxes, sconces, trivets, serving trays and wine glass trays.  Many of my items are made with mixed woods – oak, walnut, maple and ash.   All of the proceeds from the sale of these items go to the LaSenda School and Orphanage in Guatemala.  I donate my time and the cost of all materials.  So, every dollar taken in is sent to LaSenda.”

5. A return artisan to the 7th annual Red Geranium Artisan Market is Tina Smith, creator of Fashion Flips; Modern headbands with a Twist.  From Tina, “I ‘m a mom of three and have a background in design and product development. My business, Fashion Flips, is my creative outlet and provides a solution to the “headband headache” that has plagued girls for generations. (can’t we be cute and comfortable?!) I’ve been sewing these headbands for over 8 years; my customers love the comfort of them (they don’t squeeze your brain). And I love matching up fabrics to create hundreds of different combos, so shoppers are sure to find their favorites. Best of all, Fashion Flips are reversible! They have a unique, but simple way of “twisting” so you get two looks in one. I make Fashion Flips in three widths: Skinny Mini, Original, and Big Mama; so you’re sure to find the fit and style that’s perfect for you.
